What’s the Deal?
The APA Legacy Scholarship is a special celebration during APA Heritage Month. It’s open to high school and college students across the United States who identify as APA. The aim? To create engaging 60-90 second video vignettes that express the essence of being APA.
What’s in it for You?

- 2nd Place: $125
- 3rd Place: $75
Who Can Apply?
- Content Creators who identify in part or completely as AAPI: Asian American Pacific Islander.
- Currently enrolled in high school or an accredited college worldwide.
How to Enter?
Follow these steps:
- Create: Craft a 60-90 second Instagram Reel showcasing your APA experience.
- Post: Share your Reel on your public Instagram account. Tag @apalegacy and use #APALegacy2024 in the caption.
- Submit: Complete the Official Form for submission.

Judging Criteria
Entries will be evaluated based on Creativity, Execution, and Messaging by a panel of APA journalists, academics, subject matter experts, and media professionals. They’re eager to hear your unique stories!
