Griffith Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2024-2025
The Griffith University International Scholarship program is designed to support outstanding international students who are applying for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree programs at Griffith University.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Griffith University International Student Excellence Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship: You must be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Academic Performance: You should have achieved a minimum GPA of 6 or above on a 7-point scale, or its equivalent. You can verify your suitability based on this criterion by referring to the Minimum GPA criteria document (PDF).
- Offer of Admission: You must have received an offer to study at Griffith University by the scholarship application closing date.
- Academic and English Language Requirements: You must satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
- Full-Time Enrollment: You must be enrolled as a full-time student, commencing your studies in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Application instructions:
To apply for the Griffith University International Student Excellence Scholarship, follow these steps:
- Apply for Admission: Begin by applying to study an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at Griffith University. Ensure you meet all academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen program. Once you receive your Letter of Offer from the university, you can proceed to the next step.
- Prepare Required Documents: Gather the necessary documents for your scholarship application. This typically includes your academic records, such as transcripts or certificates, and a personal statement outlining your achievements, aspirations, and reasons for applying for the scholarship.
- Submit Scholarship Application: Apply for the scholarship by the specified deadline. For Trimester 2, 2024 entry, the deadline is April 13, 2024. For Trimester 3, 2024 entry, the deadline is August 10, 2024. Please note that the deadline for Semester 1, 2024 entry was December 2, 2023. Ensure you submit all required documents along with your application.
- Await Notification: After submitting your scholarship application, wait for the university’s decision. Successful applicants will be notified accordingly.
