Latest Update: The College of Nursing, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, formerly School of Nursing, University of Benin Teaching Hospital wishes to inform all intending applicants and the general public that admission into the College is now through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

This is due to the recent upgrade of our Institution to award the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) which entitles our graduands to be called up for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

All intending applicants should therefore endeavor to enroll in the ongoing JAMB registration exercise to be eligible to apply for the Post UTME examination that will come up later in the year. The sales of Post UTME forms will commence on Monday 12th of September, 2022.

We, therefore, wish that this information be given the widest awareness/publication.

UNIBEN Teaching Hospital School of Nursing Entry Qualifications:

  • Candidates must not be less than 18 years old.
  •  Must possess the following: WAEC/GCE (O/Level)/SSCE/NECO with five (5) credits in not more than two (2) sittings in the following subjects, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
  •  Candidate must also possess a Registered Midwifery Certificate (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse Certificate (RPN)

How to Apply for UBTH School of Nursing Admission Form

Application forms are obtainable in person from the office of the Principal with a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) only. This should be made payable to UBTH TREASURY SINGLE ACCOUNT (TSA) VIA THE REMITA PLATFORM IN ANY COMMERCIAL BANK UNDER THE SERVICE TYPE “TRAINING SCHOOL- SCHOOL OF NURSING.

A separate payment of N200 to Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee Edo State Account No. 2050003858 First Bank of Nigeria. Candidates are to submit four (4) recent colored passport photographs (taken two weeks prior to the application) while returning the completed application forms.

National Examinations Council (NECO) Timetable for 2022 June/July Examination (SSCE)

The NECO 2022 timetable is the most valuable asset for all the candidates preparing for the June/July SSCE. It allows candidates to know exactly when a specific subject is scheduled.

Candidates take the NECO June/July examination in their last stage of Secondary School Education. The SSCE is in two categories. One is for candidates in the third and final year of their senior secondary education, and it is called SSCE Internal. At the same time, the Second is SSCE External and is for candidates not in the School system, i.e. Private Candidates.

NECO Exam Date

According to the NECO 2022 Timetable, the examination has been scheduled to start on Monday 27th June and ends on Friday 12th August, 2022.

  3. PRACTICAL IN SCIENCES, STENOGRAPHY, COMPUTER STUDIES & DATA PROCESSING CAN BE IN SETS WHERE THE NUMBER OF CANDIDATES IS LARGE, AND THE EQUIPMENT CANNOT GO ROUND.
  4. VISUAL ARTS Paper IV [CREATIVE DESIGN] SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES AT LEAST ONE WEEK BEFORE THE EXAMINATION DATE.
  5. WELDING & FABRICATION ENGINEERING CRAFT PRACTICE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES AT LEAST THREE WEEKS BEFORE THE EXAMINATION DATE.
  6. NIGERIAN LANGUAGES (HAUSA, IGBO, YORUBA, EDO, EFIK AND IBIBIO) INCLUDE LITERATURE ASPECT.
  7. ALBINOS AND BLIND CANDIDATES ARE TO BE ALLOWED 30 EXTRA MINUTES AT THE END OF EACH SUBJECT.
  8. BLIND CANDIDATES MUST MAKE USE OF THE NECO SUPPLIED OBR CUSTOMISED BRAILLE SHEET FOR THE EXAMINATION.
  9. DYEING AND BLEACHING IB, PHOTOGRAPH IB, PAINTING AND DECORATION IB, PRINTING CRAFT PRACTICE IB, LEATHER GOODS MANUFACTURING AND REPAIR IB, SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EXAMINATION DATE.
  10. USE OF A SCIENTIFIC CALCULATOR IS ALLOWED.

IMSU School Fees 2022/2023 – The Imo State University, Owerri School Fees has been announced for freshers and returning students for the 2022/2023 academic session. Prospective students should check how much is IMSU Tuition fees in this article.

IMSU Post UTME

IMSU School Fees 2022/2023

The current school fees of the Imo State University, Owerri ranges from ₦150,000 to ₦180,000 for both new and returning students. For new students, you will have to check the fees by the department on the official website of the school. Payment would also be made on the online portal.

Please take note, that the fee amounts for IMSU Part-time, Postgraduates, Direct Entry and Freshers are different. As soon as you visit imsu.edu.ng, you will find the breakdown of the fees on the portal and specifically for your course.
