To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Obtain an unconditional offer to pursue a postgraduate (master’s) program at the University of Aberdeen: Applicants must successfully secure an unconditional offer of admission to a postgraduate program at the University of Aberdeen. This ensures that candidates have met the academic requirements for enrollment in their chosen course of study.
- Be classified as international students from any African country, eligible for home fees status: Prospective recipients must be international students originating from any African nation. They should be eligible for home fees status, indicating that they will be subject to the same tuition fees structure as home students, rather than international fees.
- Not be in receipt of any externally funded scholarships or other scholarships provided by the University of Aberdeen, except those awarded by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust: Candidates should not currently hold any externally funded scholarships or other scholarships awarded directly by the University of Aberdeen, except for those granted by the University of Aberdeen Development Trust. This criterion ensures that the scholarship benefits individuals who are not already receiving substantial financial support from other sources.
