The University of Adelaide 2024 Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) is available for undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees in any field offered by the University, with a few exceptions. This means that eligible students can pursue their studies in a wide range of disciplines, giving them the opportunity to excel in their chosen field of study.

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program offers opportunities for citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh to study and conduct research in the United States. This program enables individuals from these countries to pursue graduate studies, professional development, and artistic endeavors at U.S. universities or other academic institutions.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:

Each Faculty will grant only two scholarships, providing a 50% reduction in tuition fees, to the applicant within their faculty who achieves the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8. This means that the two applicants with the highest academic achievements within each faculty will be awarded this scholarship opportunity.

Eligibility:

• The University of Adelaide 2024 Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) is available for:
  • International students starting their coursework award program at the University in 2024.
  • Direct entry undergraduate and postgraduate award program applicants, including those who need to complete a Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) before starting their degree.
  • Applicants who meet the minimum score requirement.
  • Citizens of Vietnam, Taiwan, Colombia, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh who are enrolling as international students, as well as students who have recently completed their qualifications in Australia.
  • Open to study in any discipline.

  As a general guideline, the University of Adelaide will consider applicants who have achieved academic excellence equivalent to:

  • For undergraduate programs: a Raw ATAR of 99.9 or its equivalent.
  • For postgraduate coursework programs: a GPA of 6.9 out of 7 or its equivalent.

Application instructions:

You don’t need to submit a separate application for the University of Adelaide Global Academic Excellence Scholarship. Eligible students will automatically receive this scholarship if they meet the requirements. The university has specific deadlines for different study periods: February 28, 2024, for Trimester 2, 2024; April 30, 2024, for Semester 2, 2024, and May 31, 2024, for Trimester 3, 2024.
