Scholarship Benefits

Qualification Criteria

To be eligible for the Chevening Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

– Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of nations or territories that are eligible for the Chevening Scholarship.
– Residency Requirement: Upon completion of the scholarship, recipients are required to return to their country of citizenship and reside there for at least two years.
– Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have completed all requirements for an undergraduate degree by the time of application. This degree should qualify them for enrollment in a postgraduate program at a UK university. Typically, this equates to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK, although requirements may vary based on the chosen subject and university.
– Work Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ worth (2,800 hours) of job experience.
