Application Instructions

Candidates interested in applying should put together and submit a complete application package by May 1, 2024. This package should consist of:

– A cover letter divided into three sections, each around 300 words, explaining your motivations, adaptability, initiative, and describing a challenge you’ve overcome.
– A CV (maximum of 3 pages).
– Academic transcripts.
– Names and contact information of three references.

To apply, candidates need to follow a two-step process: initially, they must email their application documents as a single PDF file to Dr. Mahdieh Tourani at mahdieh.tourani@umt .edu with the subject line “MSc Montana Large Mammal”. After the initial review of applications, which starts immediately upon receipt and continues until the position is filled, top candidates will be invited to formally apply to the Wildlife Biology Program within the UM Graduate School.
