However, this article will mainly focus on the National University of Singapore, NUS-SINGA Scholarship. The SINGA Scholarship will cover:

  • Total Tuition Fees are covered.
  • The monthly stipend of S$2,200 and it can be increased to S$2,700 after you’ve passed the Qualifying Examination.
  • One-time Airfare Grant of up to S$1,500 (One thousand, five hundred Singapore dollars).
  • One-time Settling in Allowance of S$1,000 (One thousand Singaporean dollars).

Unlike other scholarship programs where you’ll be required to upload various documents such as IELTS, TOEFL, FRE, GMAT, PTE, or any language Test. The SINGA Scholarship at NUS University does not need you to upload or submit any of these documents. You can simply apply for this scholarship without them.

Should I Apply Separately at NUS University?

It is important to note here, that any one who is interested in applying for SINGA through the SINGA application portal, should not apply through the university application portal unless contacted by the university to do so.

At later stages of your SINGA application, here’s where the academic institution (NUC) management may contact certain selected candidates to apply on its application portal to obtain further requirements and details.

Deadline.

The SINGA Scholarship portal at NUS University is scheduled to officially close on the 1st of December, 2023. While classes are scheduled to commence in 2024.
