UAL/ISH International Postgraduate Scholarship

Eligibility:

  1. Hold an offer to study a full-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s 6 Colleges starting in 2024. The eligible courses include those offering a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MFA, MRes, or MSc qualification. Applicants who already possess a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or an equivalent level qualification obtained in the UK or abroad) are not eligible to apply.
  2. Be ordinarily resident in one of the low-income economy countries specified in UAL’s list of qualifying countries, as detailed on the official website. Alternatively, applicants can be asylum seekers in the UK at the time of making their scholarship application.
  3. Have an annual household income of £25,000 or less (or the equivalent exchange value in the currency of a qualifying country) at the point of scholarship application.
  4. Provide a personal statement as part of the scholarship application, addressing specific questions:
    • Describe how receiving a Postgraduate Scholarship would make a difference to you.
    • Explain how you intend to use the qualification you will be gaining to support your future plans.
    • Describe how you would address challenges in your home country.
    • Explain how you would uphold the values of social justice and environmental stewardship.

Applicants must meet all these criteria to be considered for the scholarship.

Application instructions:

After receiving an offer for a qualifying course, applicants can access the scholarship application forms through the “my funding” page on their UAL Applicant portal. The deadline for submission is 5 July 2024 for entry in August 2024.
