Barry University Stamps Scholars Program for Undergraduate Students in the USA for 2023/2024

Based on GPA, leadership development, and community service requirements, the Barry University Stamps Scholars Program is re-evaluated each year. Barry University collaborates with the Stamps Scholars Program to offer multi-year scholarships to motivated and gifted student leaders who want to succeed in both their academic and personal endeavors.

With the help of merit-based financial aid, such as enrichment money that can be utilized for study abroad, cultural exchanges, research projects, and other educational experiences, Stamps Scholars pursue their academic interests while honing their leadership abilities. Additionally, Stamps Scholars become a part of a global community of more than 2,800 present and former Stamps Scholars, with whom they can network and exchange experiences.

The Barry University Stamps Scholars Program invests in a select group of high-achieving incoming freshmen with a passion for leadership and service thanks to the kind sponsorship of the Stamps Scholars Programme. To grant a complete merit scholarship, Barry University matches the funds.

About Barry University

In Miami Shores, Florida, there is a private Catholic university called Barry University. One of the major Catholic universities in the Southeast, it was established in 1940 by the Adrian Dominican Sisters and is located inside the Miami Archdiocese. Six schools and two colleges of the institution provide more than 100 degree programs ranging from bachelors to doctoral levels.

Barry University was ranked 615th among the nation’s top colleges in Forbes’ 2015 Ranking of America’s Best Colleges. The main campus of Barry University is located in Miami Shores, Florida. Barry University offers several continuing adult education courses at different Florida sites, despite having its primary campus in Miami Shores. 

Barry University has campuses in Orlando, where the Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law is located, and Saint Petersburg, where its Physician Assistant Program’s second branch is located. An additional campus of Barry University’s Physician Assistant Program is situated on the island of St. Croix.

Eligibility for Barry University Stamps Scholars Program

The following prerequisites must be met by applicants to be eligible for the Barry University Stamps Scholars Program:

  • Open to first-year students who are either domestic or international students who are US citizens;
  • an average of 3.5 or above in high school;
  • leadership that is active and demonstrated.

How to Apply

  • Applications will be accepted until January 15, 2023, at 11:59 PM, along with the necessary essay and supporting materials (EST). An essay and supporting materials are part of a full application. Your leadership background and personal qualities that you feel will help you contribute to the Barry University community should be briefly discussed in the essay.
  • A letter of support, records of high school extracurricular activities, a certificate of achievement or other documents of recognition, newspaper or other press clippings, and/or a brief video (3 minutes in length) are all acceptable forms of supporting documentation as long as they are pertinent to your application. Example, www.zeemee.com, YouTube, etc.)
  • Describe yourself, your hobbies, and why you want to join the Barry community if you are submitting a video. Include anything you feel would help your application but wasn’t effectively expressed in your essay or application.
